I just purchased an Ipaq 2215 and Nevo works ok for my tv, vcr, stero, but can't be customized the way I want so I tried PDAWin's TV Remote ver 5.4.

TV Remote does not appear to be sending anything. Pressing any key(predefined or learned) does nothing.

Should this work on an Ipaq 2215?

btw, it does not matter how close I get the Ipaq to the equipment when I am trying it. I mean, I've had it as close as 6 inches. Nevo works from as far away as 30 feet.

Oh, I've also gone and stopped all running programs so that TV remote was all that was running. Still didn't work.
Thanks.

I have the same problem. The Nevo software works but not, as we know, with CCFs.

I have been on holiday for 2 weeks but have monitored this post daily - a lot of views but no answers. I think Mark and I need some real help.

Has anybody tried it with the remote extender - PDAir.

Could it be that PDAWin does not run under PC2003 operating system.

Has anybody had similar probs with other models.

As usual many thanks for those who take the time and trouble to view posts and in so doing keep Remote Central the only place on the net worth visiting.

I e-mailed them and the reply was that 2003 would be supported in later release.

I have ordered an ipaq H2210 and intend to use nevo. I have made myself a IR receive/trasmit device for a PC parallel port. This will allow me to either learn or paste CCF codes that I find for my gear and then send them to nevo.
This means that I can learn buttons that do not exist on my remotes.

Yes it works now - version 5.5 seems to solve the problem.

It was worth the short wait.
