Hello, It's called X-Tend and going to have an MSRP of 699.00. The cool thing about this tablet is that it's also a universal learning remote. The X-Tend has a infrared port which other tablets don't. Does anyone know if other company's have an infrared port in the works for their web tablet's. Check it out. [Link: dotdesigntech.com]Joe

I haven't seen it. I'm not sure it's shipping. Since there's no pricing info on the site and the hardware is still in beta, I assume you are with the company that is developing it.
The specs say it can learn IR carriers from 56-455KHz. I hope that's a typo as it would be nearly useless if it cannot handle the 32-40KHz carriers used with 95% of Consumer IR.
The specs do not indicate whether it can use CCF files or instead uses a proprietary format. As most of the posters here will tell you, the latter approach is brain-dead if it does not allow for discrete code entry.
I think most people will tell you that 30 foot IR range is also marginal. It's easy to get far more range.
