Just started using TV Remote Controller, which is the main reason I bought my Axim and PDA-ir. My problem is that I cannot get any ir codes to work from CCF files that I download from Remote Central. The same is true for discrete codes that I paste into Pronto Edit. However, all the codes that I learn from my other remotes work fine. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'd really like to get those discrete power codes working.
Thanks

Well, I can't tell you what you are doing wrong, based on your description. What I can tell you however, that the discrete codes I put into my iPAQ work very well. Perhaps you are using codes from the built in pronto library or RC6 codes. These are not reproducable by TRV.

Hi there... I just posted a new thread on the Pronto forum requesting discrete codes for a Sony KV-32FQ75 TV (UK) when I happened upon this thread. I am using TV Remote with a HP Jornada at the moment purely for testing purposes (I intend to purchase an Axim with PDA-ir shortly). The discrete power on/off codes listed on this site do not work....is that because they are RC6 codes??
Any advice will be welcome. Discrete codes for my Pioneer DVD player work perfectly with this set up...so I am confident that I have done nothing wrong in installing them.
Regards,
Andrew

My (litle) experience says that all codes need to be learned directly from the remote (RC5 etc don't work) Nor do discreets work. Can't understand the reason, as they are "normal" hex codes.
Another thing that I can't get to work, is having more than 49 devices in a ccf. All devices >50 just disappear in the scroll down menu (right upper corner of the screen) The panels are there and can be accessed thrugh jump commands, but in these devices the hard button cease to function (?????) If anybody knows a way around it please let me know... Thanks
