Anyone else having issues with MyElectronicDog.com???

I ordered the PDA-ir for the Dell Axim on 4/10 and have not heard anything from them after two emails and one phone message.

Dave/Dane, are you back ordered on this item?

I don't know the current inventory situation. I'm not involved in the manufacturing, marketing or shipping.

I do know they were blind-sided by PDAwin's premature announcement and had to scramble to build and evaluate the new version. I know they were having problems getting some of the components but I think that's now under control. If yours has not shipped, it should ship this week.

Please understand that this is a very small, part-time business and most of the production takes place at night and on weekends. 4/15 came between 4/10 and now and I think Dane was busy for a few nights and one weekend getting his taxes done.

Just to let you know, I ordered one on 4/7/03....and received on 4/19/03. I think this is about the production/shipping times expected of a company this size.

See my response in the other thread. Also, realize that PDAwin is exactly the same way. I have never been able to get an e-mail reply from PDAwin in about 3 months, and nobody else (to my knowledge) has had success contacting them either. The only reason it is not as big of a deal to everyone with PDAwin is because you can go ahead and download the software when you pay. But if you think about it, shouldn't you also be able to contact support if need be??? It's not just EDV that is having problems, it is just that people run "companies" such as PDAwin and EDV as a hobby, and to benefit the PDA remote market. None of these companies could possibly make enough profit from their products to devote much time to it. Just my opinion anyhow.....read my other post for full opinion. :)
