I have an Toshiba e740 where do I find IR programs?

I just downloaded a program today at http://www.pdawin.com called TVRemote, I think, and put it on my Toshiba e740. I've only played with it a little, but it looks promising. Now I've got to find the CCF files for all my stuff!

I expect the next release of PDAwin's software to add support for PDA-ir on the e740.

With the IR on the side of the e740, do you have to point the PDA sideways for the remote control to work? What kind of distance do you get? Is the variety of devices supported good?

If you are using the internal IrDA emitter you will have to hold it sideways. You'll probably be disappointed with the range as well. Version 5.3 of TV Remote Control supports the PDA-ir CF card IR extender.
