I received this E-mail back from PDAwin regarding the button press problem. I was suprised to get a response back so quickly. It seems that there might be some hope for this problem. Arnie...
My E-mail: I have your 5.1 version for my IPAQ 3850 and was wondering if the 5.2 version addresses any of the shortcomings of the previous version, such as action on button press, rather than on release. This feature makes it very hard to do volume control, etc. like things that require a long button press. PDAwin response:
Dear Arnie, version 5.2 only add PDA-ir extender support for iPAQ 3900. We do not fix "action on button release" so far (due to some hardware incompatibility). For repeat function you can use iPAQ navi HW buttons (key up is Volume+, key down Volume-.....). We will try to fix this in next release.
