Is electric dog out of business. I ordered a cf ectender Dec 18/02 and never heard anything back as of yet. It seems to be a long time with no order confirmation.

They are not out of business. Have you tried an e-mail to them asking the status of your order? I think there's even a link on their web page that lets you check order status.

Checking your profile, I see that you are in Canada. It's nearly impossible to ship to Canada with any reliability as your customs people like hold things for ransom. Shipping times from the US to Canada for things like this varies from 3-4 weeks to eternity.

I don't know how EDV ships to Canada. From my own experience my recommendation would be to NOT ship anything to Canada except by courier.

It took me quite a long time to receive mine as well, and I live in the states.

The order status on their web page is simply a link to the credit card billing service that they use. CC Now, I think it is. It only has status such as 'Order received' or 'Order shipped'. Not terribly helpful.

The only way I see of contacting them directly is to click the 'Contact Us' link and then click on the name 'Dane Houston'. You should be able to email them that way at least.

I was pretty frustrated until mine actually showed up. On the plus side, though, the PDA-ir worked as advertised when it did show up.

Regards. Jay.

wildchild22, we must have posted at the same time. That explains the redundancy.

Good luck receiving your product. Please post back and let us know how it went.

I just received an IR extender from these guys in the mail this past Friday. They are definitely not out of business, but it did take a while to come.
