When I try to edit my ccf file in Pronto Edit 4 it crashes I was wondering if there is a setting or if I am doing something wrong.

I would try to download a CCF from this site and see if you can open that one. That way, you'll know if it's your CCF file, or if something is corrupt with the Pronto Edit installation.
