Will the total remote and/or pdawin remote control x-10 stuff like lights and the sort? I am gonna guess yes but being a newbie in this area might make me expect too much. I am a newbie to pda remote but have been in the IT field for 10 years now!!!!!!

Total Remote should work with the X-10 IR gear, like most learning remotes.
