Palm IIIxe or Visor?

Which is a better remote Palm IIIxe or a visor deluxe? Visor has the spring board slot, but Palm IIIxe has a back light for the display.

The Visor also has a back light.

I've said this in many posts: The Visor with an OmniRemote Springboard module is my choice. The IR signal from a Palm without an extender is too weak for many people.

It is turned on the same way as for the Palms: Hold down the power button.

Not a great backlight. Same as the Palm, though.

A downside about the visor is that the rom is not upgradable (Flashable) where as most palm pilots are. All OS upgrades are software patches for the visor and you pretty much cannot upgrade the OS to a newer version without a springboard module installed

Man that thing is so dim I didn't even notice it was turned on till I went in a dark room. ;-(
