All of the discrete codes on this site are learned (RC6A right?). How do you use these with TV remote controller 5.1 if you can only enter RC5 codes in ProntoEdit? At least that is what I believe this paragraph from the PDAWin web site is saying:

c) What type of IR codes I can enter to CCF file ?

You can enter "Learn" and RC5 IR codes. TV remote controller does not work with entered RC6 IR codes end predefined devices codes in ProntoEdit software. If you want to use RC6.... IR codes just learn these codes with your PDA.

Of course, it would help if the paragraph were written in English. Thanks.

Will

It might help if you were to address your question to the authors of TV Remote Control in Slovak but my bet is their English is better than your Slovak.

You can paste any 'learned' code into Pronto Edit.

The discrete codes don't seem to work for me. Since the discreet codes are 'learned' they should work right? What is the procedure for entering and using discrete codes with TV remote controller 5.1? Thanks.

You should paste them into a CCF file using ProntoEdit.

If they don't work then the codes may be incorrect.

I got the codes from this site and I used the procedure that was recommended above but it still is not working. I tried sending a message to PDAWin.com but I haven't received a reply. Has anyone been able to do this successfully or know of another method? Thanks.

Yeah, I'm successfully using discrete codes with TV Remote Controller 5.1. I got them from this site and then pasted them into my CCF with ProntoEdit.

Go to your button properties....Click 'Set IR'....Click 'View IR' to expand the window....Paste the ENTIRE set of IR codes into the 'IR code' window...Click 'OK', and you should be good to go.

Worked for me, anway. Let me know if you have more problems and I'll take a look at my file and do what I can.

Regards. X.

The way I got around this was to buy the RS 15-2104 and use the Advanced Codes listed on hifi-remote.com.
