When my ipaq (3630) have been powered down for a few hours TV remote is not in front of the screen anymore (it is set to fullscreen before powerdown). It is overlayed by the keyboard icon in the lower right corner and an explorer window. I can click in the remaining visible parts of the TV remote window and it appears in front again, except for the keyboard icon.

Anyone who have experienced this? Or knows what is going on?

What is a bit strange is that I can power it on and off several times and it is ok. It only seems to happen when it has been power down for a few hours.

Doesn't anyone else have this problem? It happens both in fullscreen and windowed mode. That every now and then the screen displaying the time/date, appointments, that is the "Today" screen, comes up in front. I have also tried installing Pocket PC 2002 and the same thing happens... It makes it very annoying to have to bring TV remote in front every now and then.

Good suggestions are welcomed!

Yeah, I have a suggestion... although this thread is over a month old... Go to Settings, Today, and uncheck the box at the bottom about the Today Screen.

Maybe?

Just to clarify on billy_jack's suggestion. I've had this same problem, and I think he hit on the solution.

Go to Start...Settings...Today...select the 'Items' tab...Uncheck the box that reads 'Display Today screen if device is not used for [dropdown box] hours'

By default, this box is checked and set to 4 hours.

Regards. X.

Nope, I don't think he hit on the solution. I know he did. I made the above mentioned change, tested it for a a day or so, and no more loosing focus. TVR is always at the front now.

Thanks billy_jack!
