It does not work properly...AGAIN...

OK so we know that it not a bad product but it certainly is not a good one. It seems that the developers are only interested in grabbing the money & adding new features.

What about the BUGS??????? Sort them out!!!

Philips have released a lite version of Pronto for the Palm OS so if by chance they release it for the Pocket PC then it could be game over for PDA Win.

The software is almost useless with the new iPaq H3900 series because of the IR problem.

If you have read earlier threads you would be aware that the new software version does recognise the PDA-ir but it still doesn't work at all.

Maybe everyone should could e-mail them to get this fixed ASAP. Otherwise it could be time to start looking for other solutions....Hey Philips are you listening??? Hint, hint..

forgedaboudit!!!

If the philips got their act together for the palm they definately see the potential for IR devices with their stuff on it.

But....who would buy the TSU-6000 when at the same price you can get the Ipaq 3950 with all the bells and whistles, better screen, more mem etc....it would almost be like shooting themselves in the foot. Although, I would love to have this product, and I agree with you that TV Remote will be useless (I am assuming that almost 99% of the people are using the ccf view). To have a 100% compatible working pronto in an ipaq and utilze the pda-ir would rock!

I have to re-read the story about the palm pronto lite, but what makes it lite? What can't you do?

I also have sent 2 emails to pdawin and have not yet received an answer. So much for their customer support.

Atleast Nevo works..even though it's really not that good, but definately has potential, hopefully in their next release.

Send IR? Most Palms have the same limited range of other IrDA devices. AFAIK, the only PalmOS PDA with a CF slot is the HandEra 330.
