This may have been covered here before, but does anyone know of a generic, 'clip on' IR booster? I have a Kyocera Smartphone which is a Palm device ... but it uses it's own proprietary connection and is not compatible with the Palm III or V type interfaces.

Here's one: [Link: pdawin.com]If you build that one, change the IR emitter to one that does 940nm IR. The one spec'd is for IrDA which uses 850-900nm.

Thanks ... but are there any retail products out there.
I really don't want to have to build one.
