Hi there,

I was wondering which IR extender should I buy?I have noticed that there are a few different ones available, some models have single LED & some have 2 LED's.

My other concern is not so much to do with range as angle. Can you point your device at a wall & get the signal to bounce? Does it improve the directional aspect ie. can you point it off target & still get a good response? It drives me crazy having to point the iPaq directly at my decides.

The best value is the type of ir repeater system where the emitter attaches directly to the remote.
It works very well. The price range is $25(E-BAY)to$50(SmartHome).
If you don't want something attached to your pda I would suggest the Hotlink Pro.Check out the post I made in this forum about the Hotlink Pro.

I am thinking about going with a RF clip on extender, that way I can use it anywhere in the house.
