I know there are already programs like OmniRemote out there that can make your PDA act like a remote control. The clie I just bought even comes with a remote control app. But I thought it would be fun to write my own.

I've read Barry Gordon's excellent description of what the Pronto hex codes really mean. But I don't know how that description translates into Palm's IRLib. Anybody know how to program Palm OS to send Pronto's hex codes through the IR port?
