Is there a way to get the omniremote to take you to different pages when it finishes a macro like the pronto does?

Yes there is.
Program a category button at the end of the macro.

That sounds easy enough but when I edit the macro and select insert i am supposed to tap the button that I want so I go and select the category that I want but it just goes to that category like I am supposed to select a button there. When I end the macro the category change does not show up?

I am using the older version of omniremote on the remotepro does this matter.

This feature is only avaiable in the OmniremotePro version.
Also the way you have to add the category change to a macro is to tap a category button that you have CREATED on one of your screens, not from the pop-up category list.
You use the pop up category list to change screens to program commands from different screens into a macro, not to change the screens.
