I've got a question for all you A/V freaks out there. I am installing an integrated home theater in my bathroom/jacuzzi room. The only problem is that I need a waterproof/resistant universal remote control unit to run everything. I know they make them for pools but you have to buy the pool, theater system and remote all together. You cannot buy these parts seperately. I even went to the manufacturers site but they didn't sell the remotes or the A/V units seperately either. I would appreciate any help as soon as possible.
Thanks

There's a thread I was reading on another forum about people shrinkwrapping their remotes. It seemed a little odd to me, but they like it. And it would definitely resist water better that way. I'm far from sure it would protect from submersion in the tub...but it should be good for a few splashes.
Some even said taping simple sandwich plastic wrap over the top was successful for them...

If you cannot find an actual waterproof remote, check out Xantech.com's waterproof keypad. It's a wall mount with wiring back to the system, but it's a heck of a lot better than nothing.
