Is there any reasonable way to get a PDA, good IR, decent remote software, 802.11b, and a web browser all in the same product?

I have some components that are IR ( stereo, tv, etc ) and some that are web enabled ( audiotron, X10 via web ), etc.

I would really like to control everything from a PDA like an IPAQ and Palm.

Any ideas for me?

Yes there is! I use a Compaq iPAQ 3850 with the PC-Card jacket and the Compaq WL110 card. As remote software I use the new 'TV Remote Controller 3.0' (www.pdawin.com) wich can use CCF files from the Philips ProntoPro!

I use a Palm m515 with OmniRemote Pro (www.pacificneotek.com), Intel Xircom 802.11b Wireless LAN Module ([Link: intel.com]), and various web browsers like Palm's Built-In Web Clipping (via MyPalm.pqa), AvantGo, Blazer, and EudoraWeb (see www.palmgear.com).

Palm is coming out with a new web browser soon (supposed to be out last week) and other companies are working on new Palm-OS based web browsers as well.

Not sure how your web-enabled components will work with these web browsers, but it's worth a try.
