Do you need to buy the OmniRemote Springboard module to run OmniRemote on a Visor? I really would like to get a Visor but did not know exactly what I would need to turn it into a universal remote control. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

You can use the OmniRemote software on the Visor, but you won't have as strong an IR signal.
The module will give you better range.

It will also make it more usable, since on the Visor the original IR is on the side. without it you would need to hold the remote at 90 o, and it would make it harder to read.
