I've been trying to program my MX-500 via OmniRemote and I seem to be having some difficulties with it. First off, I have to have the two devices nearly touching before the MX-500 accepts the code. After saying that it's "good" it won't transmit the signal. Well, it does but nothing happens.
Any ideas as to what may be going on? I have a Palm Pilot IIIxe and I don't have the IR transmitter on top. Is this device actually necessary? I can use the OmniRemote software perfectly but it just won't work properly with the MX-500.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I sold my OmniRemote software, but I seem to remember the ability to adjust the carrier(?) frequency when learning from another remote. Check and see if you can change that when teaching the MX-500.
Let me know what happens, please.
