OmniRemote sounds great, but I am having trouble with the demo.
I have tried both 1.17 and 1.2 beta of Omniremote on my Visor Prism. Neither works. "IR port blocked message with 1.17 and a blank screen w a couple border lines for 1.2, needs reset. Palm OS 3.5.2H1.4
Help???

Forgot to say that I set hotsync and prefs to serial/usb, but no joy.
Any help would be much appreciated.

OK, I'll answer my own question. I finally got an answer from Neo-Tek. They gave me 4 things to try, the last of which was a hard reset. That got me working to avoid such an unpleasant extreme and I found the conflict: my CardAccess wristband thinmodem springboard module. Removed, OmniRemote works. I pulled all the apps off the flash memory on the module, conflict still there. The module itself is the problem, I guess.
So, another question (if anyone is listening): Does OmniRemote have conflicts with other springboard modules?

Yes, I cannot use OmniRemote with either my Visor Phone or my MemPlug SM in my Prism.

Neo support finally came through and identified my problem: thinmodem handspring module. Once removed all works well. Note that the Visorphone module also causes the same problem. Funny that this is not in the FAQs...
