Toshiba TV, Sylvania DVD, ReplayTV, Panasonic VCR, Sony TV, Samsung VCR - Also used it with 3-4 other TV's while staying in hotels.

The TV is 6 feet at the bottom of my bed and It works just fine. The rest of the A/V stack is 8 feet away and I need to aim it just right but when I do it works everytime.

I got the IR booster for greater range, with it I can get 25+ feet with the Sony TV in my living room, again aimed just right. I find having the booster makes it easier cause I can bounce the signal off walls like I do with my other remotes. Well worth the extra few dollars!

Hmm, just for fun I added a MP3 panel to control XMMS via an IRman on my Linux system! I'm in A/V heavan!!!
