Hey,

I have a visor platinum and have just installed omniremote. Seems really good but I have few problems with it.

1. When doing macros, one of the steps I want to set up is changing my video source. One button on my original TV remote switches from tv, to Video 1, to Video 2. If I set up the macro to press this button, most likely I will not get video 2. Is there a code or something I could input into omniremote so it always goes to video 2? I have a Sanyo 25" direct view tv (txe2545)

2. Volume. I have tried training the volume button by holding the volume and by pressing it quickly. Apparently the infrared beam will not transmit a rapid signal to move volume up and down when you hold the stylus on the volume button. The only thing I have come up with is to train it by pressing volume quickly. Then when you hold the volume down, the pda emits a steady infrared stream. The problem is that it is very slow.

Has anyone experienced any of these problems?

If your tv doesn't support discrete inputs, like mine, then this is how I can always select video2: Channel up, input toggle, input toggle. Because your first button press is channel up, the tv should switch automatically to TV input, from there, you can toggle to the next input you want.

I don't see how this last reply changes anything. If I press channel up, the channel changes. Pressing input toggle functions the same weather I press it before of after channel up.
