This company hasn't been around long but for the price and reliability I have no problem selling them. its a cloud based system that allows the programmer to update and change things without rolling a truck! it not only controls devices but lighting as well.
Talk of new products coming out second quarter looks great with video and voltage sense. You owe yourself a look at this stuff..

How is this different from the Global Cache line of products and the iRule app?

I don't know the GC stuff but from what I have read about it and BitWise, not much is different. BitWise has somewhat a better look to it IMO.
OC is new to me as well. I sell URC mostly and understand both company's programming. Lately I have been getting calls from customers that I have sold them URC and they want pad and phone control of the system. In looking at products i found OC, so I spent time learning the program and for ways of it controlling their lighting.
I also like the fact I can make changes from my office and the customer can sync without me rolling a truck.
Hope that helps.

The hardware seems to be similar to Global Cache. The builder is only accessable for installers and integrators.

I'm told their working on an update to include voltage and video sense. I do hope they include event timers.
i am surprised at the sales over the last two months. Making templates and stock programs is helping speed up the programming process that imo is a task.
Auto population would be of great help as well.
Anyone else selling them? Whats your thoughts on the product and what tricks are you using ?

I love the product. The hardware is not Global Cahce. It's got a better processor and the Wifi version have a better antenna.

We too have built a preset template with 4 zones of video and two zones of audio. This allows me to delete the stuff I don't want and very quickly get my customer up and running. I also like the replace devices. It's truly amazing how quick things work with the replace devices. We have about a 90% close rate on the On Controls line. Most people love it, and the gesture controls for the DVR or DVD are money. Any customer with a traditional touchscreen will see the value in this immediately.

Per Glenn's idea, we have made every portrait page a gesture page. Then we put labels on the pages that explains what each gesture does. This allows the customer to rotate the ipad into portrait, then be able to swipe right to fast forward thru commercials. Once the commercials are over, then they double tap to play....they don't even have to look at the touchsreen. THis is the game changer for my customers!!
