I found this brilliant little program for your Windows Mobile phone to control VLC Player remotely. It is freeware.

I use it on my HTC Touch HD to control VLC Player from my living room. The PC is in the study upstairs and I have wireless speakers in the living room. I designed some skins that fit the screen of the HTC Tough HD and those can be found here:

If you don't know VLC Player, it is a free media player that can play almost any media file you throw at it. It is easy to use and set up.
