I just purchased and installed PDAwin's TV remote control software for my Dell Axim X51v. After installation I just wanted to try a couple of the built-in device codes for a Sony TV and Toshiba VCR. Every time a press a device button I get the following error message:
socket() error = 10009
I've tried turning Beams on and off on my PDA to no avail, and still keep getting the same error messages. Email to PDAwin has so far gone unanswered. Any ideas???
I mainly bought this software so that I could use ProntoEdit for my device editing, but haven't tried this part out yet. Is it possible that the built-in device codes just don't work and I need to create my own? Thanks in advance for any info.

In case anyone's interested, I found the problem. I have a ThinkOutside IR keyboard driver installed, and it needed to be set to coexist with other IR applications. A simple fix really, but took a little while to find. No response from PDAWin, even though I purchased their product.
I guess any if I find any other issues with this software that I shouldn't expect any support from PDAWin, but perhaps maybe from some savy users on this forum.
I was able to get my CCF loaded into TVremote, and it looks quite nice now that it's color capable. Most of the codes seem to be working, with the exception of the codes for my Sony TA-E9000ES preamp. The TVremote software also appears to be quite a bit slower than my old Pronto with noticably more delay time between button presses. But it does look a lot better!
