I would like to ask for input about which remote control software will work best with this PDA. Of particular interest:

Which ones will or won't require getting an IR sender (for the sd slot) to work well. Sounds like some have good programing but no senderavailable though it's needed for this PDA, while some dont' need a sender. Anyway, this is important to understand.

I would like it to work with the Pronto ccf system since I have a Marantz that I am pretty familiiar with. This isn't absolutely essential but nice to know either way. I also think I read that some can transfer ccf's intact with codes and others can't, though they may use ccf's?

I do need macros, probably with more than the three steps some might offer. Any other things I missed I would be glad to hear about as well.

hi Rick! i think noviiremote deluxe should meet your requirements, but you should contact the novii's support team to specify things about the first requirement .

As far as I know, these 2 programs are compatible with the Pronto's CCF file system:

PDAwin's TVremote:

Remote Control II:

From what I've read, TVremote is more compatible with the CCF files and can also use ProntoEdit for the CFF file setup.
