Hi
Guys I'm just bought this remote control called Firefly
[Link: store1.yimg.com]The bad:
1.) Is not user friendly (I will have to spend as much time setting it up as it will take me to learn a new operating system)
2.) The Snapstreamedia support sucks (they pretty much got just email and their answer was: use a debug software and send us the log file after debugging. Are they selling this remote to programmers or to regular users ?)
3.) Can only move the mouse pointer vertically and horizontally, just like you would if you are using your keyboard arrows rather than the mouse to navigate
The Good:
1.) It responds really fast to my commands, and you don't even have to point to the receiver.
2.) It has a lot of buttons which I read all could be customize (I may be willing to put the time to learn how to customize it to my needs if nothing else is better out there)
3.) look Slick
So is this the best remote control out there to control my PC through my TV or should I return it to bestbuy and buy something else?
By the way I'm running XP Pro SP2, and the multimedia applications I want to control are WinDVD 7, iTunes 5, PowerDVD 6 and Windows Media Player 10.
Thanks
Alex
