I have a PC with an installed and working (more or less) ATI HDTV card. The card responds to a Remote Wonder Plus.

I have a second PC that I would like to use as a "remote" to control the HDTV functions of the first PC. Although I find material on how I might do this with IR, I find nothing that applies directly to RF. Any information about a system based upon either XP Home / SP2 or Linux will be greatly appreciated.

Are the 2 computers networked? You want to use the second PC to control the ATI software?

One method would be to use girder and the TCP/IP plugin (called ieventc.exe). I use this method to control my htpc and home automation from a laptop.
