This is my first post on the forum but I have been reading it for a few months. I have a 300 and 400 Sony Changer but my room mates unplugged them so I lost all of my disc info. What I would like to do is hook up the changers to CDJ or another SW program, download the CD info from the net and then put it back to the changers. I would also like to export the CD list to a CSV file to import into SNL (which is great). I read about Slink-e and the SAVR which look like they will do the trick. I have no intention of running the changers from a PC but only want to dl/ul the cd info and then I will enter each new disc. Does anyone know a good way to do this with minimal cost?

If you had an Slink-e you could do what you describe. It would step through each disc lookup them up on CDDB and then download the names into the changer.
The SLink-e is discontinued but you could probably get one on ebay, you could use it then sell it again if you wished.
