I am trying to get the Gateway Media Center Remote (RC1263801) to pass keypresses to my application. Straight out of the box, with the IR receiver that came with the remote, I can receive up, down, left, right, Select, and all the number keys.
These keypresses I can intercept with my application, and it works fine.
What DOESN'T get sent automatically through the Window XP OS are the keypresses for:
Guide Live TV More Info My Videos My Music My TV My Pictures
I'd like to somehow map those buttons to different keys on the keyboard, so that my application can intercept them.
Someone suggested I use "Girder" along with the MCE plugins, but I've gotten nowhere with that tool. Can anyone tell me what my options are?

I can't think of any other way. Girder is what I'm using. Took a little configuring, but I got it to work.
