I have a HTPC running Sage and Zoomplayer. I bought a Niveus remote (RF) but really dislike it. Complication: I also bought a Harmony 680 (IR) and LOVE it. What is my best bet to get the Harmony remote controlling my HTPC? I'm a bit leary of the Girder learning curve so I think USB-UIRT IR Blaster is out. Is there any IR remote intended to control Sage that Harmony can learn?

I found out SageTV can use the USB-UIRT directly so really no need for Girder. Thanks for your reply but I think the USB -UIRT is the best option after all.

just wondering how the harmony remote is working out for you. I too have the same setup but I have also been leery to get a UIRT. Just wondering if you have it setup with the harmony and how well it is working?

I am talking about the Harmony 680 and USB-UIRT specifically. I know it sounds generic but USB-UIRT is the product name. I have not yet ordered so I cannot provide firsthand information. However, let me refer you to this thread in the Frey tech forums where I have the same username and a user named "silkshadow" provided me with the info you seek.
