hi i just built my new HTPC and i love it. i bought a harmony 890 the RF one so that i could control my htpc remotely if it was in a different room. I dont know how to do this. I have the RF extender that came with the remote is there anyway to connect that to the pc using its usb port on the RF extender. I also have a RF keyboard and mouse also made by logitech could i use the RF pc dongle the the keyboard and the mouse use. All i want is to control MCE with my harmony 890.

If you read my posting history you will notice that I am a big fan of LIRC, which will do exactly what you are looking for, but I don't know about the capabilities of the Windows port, WinLIRC:

LIRC, supports RF as well as IR, so I would imagine that WinLIRC does, too...
