I am about to buy the Logitech's Harmony 885 remote control.
First of all can i control my pc (OS:winxp sp2) with my remote?
If yes what do i have to do , to control my pc from my 885 remote?
What should i exactly buy?
Any links would greatly appreciated!

In addition to your remote, one way to do this is with an IR receiver like USB-UIRT and intervening software like Girder 4.0.
