6 Hidden Gem Audio Companies

A look at six niche audio companies ready for prime time and the shift towards a new generation of products for younger consumers.

The audio community has, for years, been a self-sustaining industry that never really cared about what the masses think.

But now with its traditional consumer moving on to more pressing financial matters, the category is now beginning to focus on younger consumers.

Many of the companies that were once considered stalwarts of the old-school audiophile crowd are now offering a new generation of computer audio components, digital audio accessories and new streamlined products that provide an easy access point into the world of analog turntables.



At the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF), many of the exhibitors showed products that catered to the standard audiophile crowd. Others showed they were looking at more than the same old core audience.

We take a look at some of the companies that are making the transition.
