Bill Cosby would have loved multiroom audio, no? Here are some hypothetical high-tech upgrades we'd install in famous TV homes.

It's that time of year when our favorite TV shows say goodbye to us for the summer ... or beyond. We can't help but think of May sweeps month and season finales that have riveted us over the years.

In light of this annual TV viewing extravaganza, it got us thinking about how some of our favorite shows of yore could be updated for 2011. Also, after seeing that the iconic home of Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off might be in need of HGTV's help to sell, we couldn't resist thinking that the first upgrade oughta be some motorized shades.



Of course, that led to conversations about what kind of A/V, automation and other subsystems would be best suited for homes of TV families.
