Hidden Gems at CEDIA ExpoBy CE Pro Editors
These lesser-known CEDIA Expo exhibitors are worth adding to your must-see list. What manufacturers are already on your list of must-see companies at CEDIA Expo 2010, which takes place Sept. 22–26 in Atlanta? The usual big brands?
CE pros definitely want to see what their tried and true manufacturers have up their sleeves for the Expo. But frankly, given the size of those companies' booths, it's hard to miss them. What you might miss out on, however, are potentially business-altering experiences that occur in small booths - you know, those conversations in the far corners of the show floor with wide-eyed manufacturers that you can just tell are onto something.
CE Pro highly recommends visiting as many of the smaller, unknown booths as time allows. We do it at every tradeshow. Scroggin expects CEDIA Expo 2010 attendees to find that Plaster Networks' product line supports their migration into the retrofit installation market. "Unlike ‘generic' powerline adapters, Plaster Networks includes a suite of management and diagnostic tools to ensure that the powerline network is operating at a suitable level of performance," he says.
