The site framwork is built with Joomla (joomla.org). It's all php developed by others and uses a mySQL database.

The file download component is built for Joomla and is automated, purchased it from RSJoomla (rsjoomla.com). One of the great features of this component is that I can display files based on a visitor's registration level.

Thank you for the info Chris. I have looked at joomla in the past. Now it appears it might be worth another look.

I am trying to plan for my site 10 years from now. If that makes sense. I recently rebuilt it and now i see minor flaws that will become a major pain in the neck as the site grows. I need a way to manage the content better. I havent found any wordpress templates that do what i need them to do.
