A few questions...

You mention 2004 Panasonic Viera TV remote, so one presumes the TV to be a Panasonic. Is this correct?

If so, what is the model number of the TV?

Is the remote the one originally supplied with the set?

And finally, are you able to upload an image of the remote?

Is this a recent development? Have you rebooted the TV (remove power for about 30 seconds)? Do buttons on the TV work? Are you sure that the input device is connected and sending a signal?

Did you visit the Panasonic sales center? I think you have to contact them first.

People here will probably have answers faster than the time you'd be on hold with Panasonic.

In addition to the questions asked above, was anybody fooling around with the remote when the TV stopped working? See, at this point it doesn't look like a bad remote, it looks like a TV in a service mode.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
