For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, never mind.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

Ahh, you putz :) Its the day of atonement, the most important part of the new year.

I'm not much for observing, worked today, had a piece of cold pepperoni pizza for lunch.

[Fins], take your testosterone supplement and man up. Your bitching and moaning... is really getting old.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I didn't save it at all. I just saw some whining and remembered it.

If you remembered it then you "saved" it in your memory, and recalled it when the time was right....

And if you have to ask what it means, yesterday may not be a day you observed.

If you are going to do business with observant Jews you may wish to pay some mind to the holidays they observe. The next 2 weeks is full of them so expect a lot of closures and delays in shipments. Luckily, the days they are closed last only 2 days but those days will occur and occur as we pass from Simchat torah, Shemini Atzereton, through Sukkot. As for the meaning of these holidays, if interested, Google is your friend. Part of doing business is understanding these things.

G'mar Tov Alan. May you be sealed in the book of life for a good year.

I may enjoy bacon, I may have had synagogue crammed down my throat to the point of resentment, but I do appreciate the rituals and history that have kept a people solvent through a tumultuous history.

Yup. Even joined a synagogue for the first time in my adult life. Trying to be a better person ...

I started reading this thread and started debating with myself whether or not to throw in a comment. But, something struck me that Julie wrote. I have come to firmly believe that organized religion is not necessary to be the best person we can be. Have respect for others, treat others with utmost respect, realize that being here is a precious gift (although short), Question everything and always seek to learn something new.
