Was watching the football Game last night having a leisurly brew at CAFE RACER in Seattle. This is where 5 people were shot two years ago by this crazy person...
Anyways sitting there, and in walks this crazy guy brandishing two large kitchen knives spouting off a bunch of crazy talk. I called 911 and a bunch of police and SWAT members chased him 15 blocks shooting rubber bullests and trying to taze the guy before they caught him! Everybody at the Cafe thought..."Here we go again"...

??? While I don't understand your always accusing me of this, I'm amazed how you like to personllay attack other - especially if their views on guns and politics don't coincide with yours.

I just shared an experience I had last night at the Cafe, and you come up with this random - sh*t.

I guess I took the bait. I'm not going to respond to any more of your BS. Go after someone else here. Thanks

Stanley,

I figure Fins thinks you weren't hugged enough as a kid, because he has to put everything into a context he can understand. Which of course means that he wasn't hugged enough as a kid. Taking into account the way he interacts with others here, I can certainly understand why he wasn't hugged.

Regarding the places you are frequenting... For the number of issues you seem to be seeing, perhaps it's time to find a more upscale part of town? Either that, or you're one of the most unlucky people on this planet!

Yeah well I love that Cafe, and figure what are the chances of something happening bad there again, after what happened there in 2012???

But, that being said a crazy / angry / schizo - bum wandered in there a couple of months ago when I was having breakfast, and he started ranting about the shootings that happened there.... The food server and cook got pretty freaked out by it... They were there when the shootings went down.

Do you know how many times he has posted the story about this cafe racer shooting? He wasnt even in the country when it happened. IIts gotten to be like Tania Head.

Now he has a new story about the place, but still starts it off with the old story like he has never told it before.

I mentioned what heppend there because some of the people that saw that post may not haqve seen the other posts or known the history.

Speaking of posts, ya wanna re-post up that picture of you and your shooting buddies you posted a while ago?

Starts it off with the old story like he has never told it before? Really?

Is the part I've highlighted in yellow the part which you're complaining about, where he starts off by telling the "old story like he has never told it before"?

I guess in your not hugged enough mind, 14 words and some elipses for punctuation count as telling it like it was never told before. Sheeesh!

Sometimes these threads remind me of the skank who complains "you know, I've dated all 2,000 men on this naval base and not a single one of them called me for a second date. There's something wrong with all of them!"

If people hammer you over and over (and, might I say, over), it's probably a good idea to examine whether you're acting like a nail.

That is a completely ignorant question. I hesitate to say it's stupid only because statistics are so horribly misused that it's almost excusable to nonthink that way (again, I won't say "think").

The chances now are exactly the same as before. You're acting as though somehow it's immunized for some period of time. How does that operate? How do the events of that day change the universe so that it is any more or less likely to recur? In fact, wasn't that even characterized as random? If it was random, how can it be influenced?

Actually, I'm only posting here in hopes that I won't see this go to the top of the pile in the Installers Forum.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie, did you bother to really read what Stanley wrote? (See the link below if you think this is yet another ignorant question.) You realize from the way that posting is written, that he is professing exactly what you are saying, that the chance of another bad event is the same as it was before the shooting.

Perhaps this will help you with your grasp of what is going on in that posting: [Link: en.wikipedia.org]

So, he wasn't looking for an answer, as it wasn't really a question. Duh! Do you feel hammered yet Ernie, because YOU are the nail in this instance.
