Nope - we didn't get a computer until around 97/98, a blisteringly fast Pentium 2 400Mhz - with an original Orchid Righteous 3D II (12MB) Voodoo II sli setup.

I have an "old games" PC that sits here generally unused. Occasionally I turn it on (or not, as happened the last time when the power supply died).

It's a P-III 350MHz, runs DOS and Windows 98, has two SCSI DVD drives, a functional 5 1/4" floppy drive, ISA Sound Blaster Gold 64 sound card, an ancient ISA-based MIDI card with a fully functional Roland MT-32 attached, one of the original ATI All-In-Wonder video cards (one that still has a DOS video mode-aware BIOS) with TV tuner... and it's even on the network.

With the Roland it's great for ancient Lucasarts and Sierra adventure games. Also hooked up to my main 24" LCD, which is quite "interesting" for all those 320x200 resolution games.

I keep meaning to use it to try and archive all my old floppy disks.

486 66 w/40g HDD and 64k of ram. Ran Doom like a Big Dog!
Pentium 100

Blurry in the middle but at the ripe age of 41, I've owned no less than 20 PCs so far.

Somewhere I've got an ad for a PC that "screams along at 27 mHz!"

Also, there's a blue bag in the garage with a Zenith portable -- too heavy to be called a laptop -- that has a 10 megabyte hard drive. Just thought I'd spell that out so you'd be less likely to think it was a typo!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I still have an advertisement for Dell's first color laptop. The ad has a plastic transparency and a divider you pull up to turn the black-and-white screen into color.

The amazing specs:

* 9.25" LCD
* 256 colors @ 320x200, 16 colors at 640x480
* 386SL 25MHz
* 4mb RAM
* 80mb HD
* "a mere 7.1 pounds" and 2.3" thick

Price? $5379 in 1992.

10 years before that I used to lug an Osborne 1 around. It weighed around 11 kilos (24 lb). After showing that off for a month the wow factor died and it stayed on the desk. I think it was around the $2500 mark (probably $1800 US)

You nearly needed a magnifying glass to read the screen, and I used to program Dbase II on it (call that programming!)

It had Supercalc and Wordstar as well

PS I've used all those compression formats except AIN 2.2 - did not know of that one
