Not meant with any offense to Daniel (most grateful for this site), just not seen any updates for a while - hope the demise of the pronto isn't going to leave us having to content with touch screen only devices with cloud programming garbage.
I wonder whether something like raspberry pi could be a nice home automation controller. I'm more interested from remote side, but would love to see an open source framework that allows devices of different shapes and sizes to be created and allow local programming on pc as the Pronto has allowed.
