my son went on holiday and brought me back a bottle of sang som rum.. its very good ! really quite surprised at home smooth and nice it is.

Beautiful, sorry I missed this thread earlier. When we went to Jamaica we had delicious Appletons rum. It was all inclusive so they just kept drizzling the stuff on top of our frozen daiquiri and Piña colada. Brought our own oversized plastic cups.

Appletons is one of my faves , I once worked with some Italians and they used to drink rum in an unusual way.. a shot of rum followed by a shot of pear juice (the thick fresh stuff) it takes the burn clean away and leaves a lovely taste combination, never mix the two in a glass , but neck them down straight after each other..
