I am new to the forum & somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of info on here. So please be gentle with me.
I am in possession of one of these  & have no idea which pronto edit to use or not to use. I think the f/w on it is 3.1.15 & my laptop is Win7. I have been reading a bit & found people having trouble with this remote & win7. I suppose I'm looking for a dummies guide for the pronto sbc ru950/00. Any info or pointers greatly appreciated.

The SBC RU950 is the European equivalent of the North American TSU3000, both are members of the Pronto NG family, so the forum you really want is this one. There you will find links to the Unofficial FAQ, Daniel's review, user reviews, and the NG file area.
