The problem with a country song is that it's hard to sing it like they do... are you planning on adding the twang? (I'm assuming not since you're British)
I like it though it's cute " be careful when you hold my girl" "I loved her first and I held her first"...
I'm actually trying to get a new backing track made so its less country and more boy band backing sounding.
Did you think i added a twang on the link? its hard to tell when its your own voice that's why i like opinions and feedback , i hope i wasn't too impression like but with the backing its easy to fall into a accent.
I dont know if you know the proclaimers 500 miles but its hard not to sing that without a scottish accent , same with country for me lol
Don't take this the wrong way but, its not good. It sounds like you are reading the words one at a time. I know you can sing [Link: remotecentral.com] so maybe it just needs some work, or its just not a easy song. How old is your daughter?
I have two daughters 20 and 14 , very true about the reading the words as i was! lol didnt know it properly . i heard the song then dug out the karaoke version and it was the first time i sang it so its a work in progress. accurate observation Palnews26
