I have no interest in jumping through hoops with my remote because some device manufacturer can't get their act together by providing discrete remote commands.
I expect the best TVs to have these features and if they don't then no purchase.
Is there any ongoing blog or forum thread that is gathering devices that are remote friendly.
i.e. What are the current 2010 and 2011 TVs that have the best discrete remote codes, what DVD players have that, what else.
I think by now communities like this need to weed out tv/dvd manufacturers and models that don't play nice with my Logitech Harmony.

You are using a Harmony and complaint about high end TVs without discrete codes???
BTW, the best TVs do have discrete codes.
