Thanks for the acceptance of my registration

I've tried several codes for my tv set, but can't find the correct 3 digit code?

Have a Duranbrand tv set, and am attempting to locate the code, and set it into my remote control

Already tried web searching Durabrand tv codes and can't find it?

Will keep trying my searches

Just thought I'd stop by and ask you all

You are aware that any particular code that you enter does NOT create a program on the remote enabling it to operate a specific TV. The code only allows the remote to pull up a preprogramed set of commands to operate the TV for which the commands were created. IF your remote does not have the commands built in, or if you cannot find a compatable brand of TV with identical commands, your remote will never be able to control your TV. Hopefully, the company that made your TV will have made many other private brands, and possibly some were popular enough to be included in the remote's database.

Durabrand is a trade name of Wal-Mart (as Bob says, read Asda for the UK) and source their components from a variety of manufacturers.

For TVs one could try Orion, Funai, Emerson, Sylvania, Symphonic codes, but as Anthony says, it would help if we has the model numbers of both (TV/remote) and the maker (brand) of your remote.
