I am by no means a grammar expert or profess to be anything of the kind.
I watch interviews with footballers (soccer players ) and managers and have found that the tendency to use done instead of did in sentences is becoming an epidemic.
In the past it tended to be a London area player/manager trait but now it is spreading up North.
We have enough of our own bad habits and little traits to be adding this sort of foolish speech pattern to our repertoire.
Please stop this now.
